The San Diego County District Attorney (SDCDA) has partnered with the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) to provide a webpage and live chat link feature that gives victims immediate access to ITRC’s experts in preventing and recovering from identity theft. This tool allows the office to refer victims to necessary resources, even when a case cannot be prosecuted.
ITRC is a national non-profit, funded by the Federal Office for Victims of Crime that assists victims nationwide who may need information about suspicious solicitations, emails, and calls or are trying to alert agencies and institutions of the theft and begin the recovery process. If you are interested exploring a similar partnership with the ITRC call 888-400-5530 or email [email protected].
