The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) Chief Administrative Officer serves as a Special Advisor to the Office of Career Services at Syracuse University College of Law which allows for a unique partnership that drives interest in prosecution work.
OCDA has become a valuable partner to the law school career services by being available for students who are interested in speaking with experienced criminal practitioners and by connecting them to other prosecution offices in different jurisdictions. Using the impact of direct connection, the Special Advisor has been able to recruit students to prosecution work, who may not have previously considered such service.
