St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office (St. Louis, MO)

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office (CAO) is launching a multidisciplinary effort to combat intimidation and keep witnesses safe, with the goal of improving violent crime prosecutions. The CAO is using a grant from Innovative Prosecution Solutions (IPS) to launch a mobile application for victims and witnesses that allows anonymous reporting of intimidation events and pairs them with local services.

Yolo County District Attorney’s Office (Woodland, CA)

The Yolo County District Attorney’s Office created a Crime Strategy Unit (CSU) which serves as a data hub to enhance the county’s ability to analyze national and regional crime trends and coordinate information-sharing between agencies.

Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office (Conyers, GA)

Through funding from Innovative Prosecution Solutions, the Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office (RCDA) developed a comprehensive homicide initiative to reduce domestic violence killings. The RCDA has created a Domestic Violence Response Team of victim advocates, law enforcement officers, and prosecutors that meet monthly to identify and target high risk offenders.

York County District Attorney’s Office (York, PA)

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office has developed a Pre-Crime Unit (PCU) with Innovative Prosecution Solution grant funds, which targets the sources of prescription drug abuse through aggressive and responsible investigations and prosecutions to combat increases in drug overdose and drugged driving. The PCU team consists of a prosecutor, investigator, and paralegal.

With Innovative Prosecution Solutions (IPS) funding, a multi-disciplinary team consisting of representatives from EBRDA, the Baton Rouge Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Louisiana National Guard, and others collect and analyze a robust dataset pertaining to opioid prescriptions, overdoses, Narcan distributions, opioid-related arrests, and other relevant data.
